In this article we are going to examine if and how the court card of the Queen of the Wands relate with the Goddess of the Crossroads. The reason for this correlation is an esoteric motivation I had to buy a printed image of the Queen from the Golden Dawn Temple Tarot. Without knowing much about the symbolism of this card in the Golden Dawn decks I put it next to a classical image of Hekate and they are going fine. Let's see how this happened.

Plutarch/Ploutarchos has written a book about superstition, the wrong fear of the Gods. He is comparing this disease with another one, atheism. From his text we see that Hekate was feared, she was the Goddess of magick and we see a clear identification with Artemis.

It was Sunday, June 2016. The day of Hekate's Deipnon. I cleaned the house, organised everything and burnt sacred incense in the house and around the house. I took a ritual bath to cleanse myself and I started preparing Deipnon.

The Golden Dawn Temple Tarot is one of a few Golden Dawn Tarot decks that are available for the magickal and tarot community. It is a pure representative of the english school of tarot, the most famous school. This deck is the most recent in its category and maybe the most vivid one. It has been created by Nicola and Harry Wendrich and Nick Farrell, extremelly important personalities. It is available in the Wendrich Art House website (http://www.wendricharthouse.com/shop_gdttd1.htm#b1). The cards have been drawn after esoteric work like meditation, astral projection and total understanding of the Book T of the Golden Dawn Hermetic Tradition.

With the archetypical energies of the Major Arcana or Triumphs I am going to present those cards who are straightly connected with Hekate. As I did in Lenormand article, I am going to write some meanings of each card and then how the energy of the card is related with out Triple Goddess. The tarot deck that I use here is based in the english school (Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn) and it is the Smith-Waite Tarot. Though it is not the best deck for a Golden Dawn magickian, we are going to use it and its depictions here.

This article is part of a series searching Hekate in divination cards. The court cards are parts of minor arcana. Those court cards are illustrated with persons because they represent persons ot qualities the querent must have to solve his problem/situation. By all court cards the Queen of Cups and the Queen of Pentacles are the most relevant I could find, using the RWS deck. Let's see who is a friend of Hekate or contains the energy of Her.
